Registrations will be accepted online (Visa & Mastercard only) beginning at 8:30am on April 30th. An online account is required before proceeding with online registrations. Registrations will be taken at the qplex Administration Office during regular office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm beginning on May 7th.

Instruction offered in five 2-week sessions.

Advanced courses are also available through a partnership with the New Brunswick Lifesaving Society. Included are Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross.
Classes will be dependent on registration numbers – minimum of 6 students is required. Due to the restriction of numbers, post-dated cheques are prefered method of payment (in case a course does not operate due to low registration numbers). Please make cheques payable to: Town of Quispamsis.
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
The WSI Course prepares candidates to instruct the Red Cross Swim Programs. Candidates focus on strategies to introduce and develop fitness activities, skills and water safety, and swimming skills in the Red Cross Swim Preschool, Red Cross Swim Kids, Red Cross Swim @ School, Red Cross Swim @ Camp, Red Cross Swim for Adults & Teens, and Red Cross Swim Adapted programs.

1st Meeting: Evening, June 18 with parent and Water Skills evaluation
Online work: June 19 – July 6
Practice Teaching: July 9 – 20

Pre-Course Requirements: Students must bring copies of their certifications to the course, be able to perform RC Swim Kids 10 strokes & skills and have current Workplace Standard First Aid with CPR.
